End Tory school cuts
Like many of you, my children go to school in Croydon..
..but Tory cuts mean many headteachers in Croydon are barely able to keep their schools’ budgets afloat. School cuts are jeopardising our children’s futures.
My Croydon Schools Survey revealed nine out of ten Croydon heads have had to cut staff due to funding pressures. It doesn’t have to be this way.
Labour’s ambitious plan for a National Education Service means an end to school cuts, more support for parents and the best possible start for our children. They are our future, and we won’t get a second chance to give them the schooling they deserve.
Despite claims from the Conservatives, Croydon’s schools will still suffer an £8.3 million shortfall next year.
