We have seen home ownership fall and homelessness rise under a Conservative government. Our young people find it harder than ever to get on the housing ladder, while rents rise faster than wages.
Croydon Central MP Gavin Barwell is the government’s housing minister, but in Croydon the number of homeless families have increased sharply, while the Tories have opposed over 500 plans for homes people can afford.

• SUPPORT the building of affordable homes
• IMPROVE RIGHTS for those who rent, including longer tenancies to encourage more stable communities
• ACTIVELY ENGAGE with local communities over planning proposals so local needs are listened to
